What does channeling mean?

Channeling means making contact with a spiritual (supernatural) being. A channel medium receives important messages that may be related to you or to present or future events. These messages often serve as comfort and life support, especially if the beings are deceased family members or loved ones. These messages can be transmitted both spiritually and in written form. In so-called individual sessions, séances or meditations, a channel medium tries to establish contact with these beings. Even if there is no scientific evidence for channeling, there are still remarkable records in history that do not ignore channeling. A well-known channel medium was, for example, Edgar Cayce(the sleeping prophet) or Aleister Crowley(Hermetic Order of the golden Dawn).
