Black clothing provides protection
Absolute cleanliness also applies here, and the clothing to be worn should always be freshly washed. The clothing you wear during a ritual is important because it protects you just as much as the magic circle. Clothing in which you do not feel comfortable is unsuitable. It must not give you a feeling of tightness or insecurity. You are welcome to wear black clothing! The color black stands for increased protection and power and it is not unfounded why witches, wizards and magicians are often associated with black clothing. Many people also associate black clothing with black magic, but this is wrong. There are many occultists in my circle of acquaintances who work with white magic and dress exclusively in black. I also always wear black clothing when I perform a ritual. However, this is not the case in my private life, at least not for me.
Calm and disruptive energy fields
If you are performing magical work, you must not be disturbed under any circumstances. Switch off all phones, cell phones and tablets. Rooms in which there are no electrical appliances are particularly suitable for carrying out magical work. In the occult faith, we distance ourselves from electrosmog and energy fields that have a negative effect on our work. The more often you practise magic, the more sensitive you become to these energies. It is also possible that the trigger for physical complaints such as headaches, migraines and tinnitus is electrosmog. While we are on the subject of energy fields, I would like to briefly address another point.
Have you ever asked yourself why witches and magicians are often associated with certain animals such as cats? Well, the reason is relatively simple. On the one hand, these animals are associated with a spiritual and mystical quality, and on the other hand, animals, and cats in particular, absorb negative energies such as electrosmog. I work a lot on the computer and I'm not really a cat person, I'm more of a dog person, but I noticed a significant reduction in electrosmog in my home when I got a cat. Try it out, you will be amazed.
Magic tools
To draw a magic circle, you need a magic wand or an athame (ritual dagger) with a black handle. The athame or magic wand is used by witches or magicians for different purposes. Firstly, these objects are used to draw magical circles, and secondly, they can be used to cut energies, summon higher powers or direct energy flows. An athame is used exclusively for magical purposes, so a simple kitchen knife is unsuitable for these purposes. Athames with white handles are only used for cutting herbs or carving wands, for example. In the following rituals you will also find instructions for burying something, for example. An athame with a white handle is also suitable for such purposes. Please make sure that nobody touches your magical tools. Always keep them in a black silk cloth, for example, to protect them from prying eyes and thus from any negative energy.
